Remember to let us know if you are interested in attending the “How to make a Solar Cooker” class on Sept. 12 th.  These are a lot of fun to make and are really easy to use.  Perfect for camping or just a day outing.  Use recipes from slow cookers or crock pot or adapt your own.  Sept. 12 at 4:30 pm.

After that, our next class is on Sept. 26th  at 4:30 where we will talk about ways to make water safe to drink in emergency situations, including using a solar cooker for pasteurization and other methods.  Also we will be looking at which methods are good for what water problems or concerns and how to use them.  Please call to reserve a spot as seating is limited.
