Organic Foods

Organic Foods have become the fastest growing area of food in the US. This is no surprise when you look at the basic principles and benefits of Organic Foods. At our Daytona Beach store, we carry USDA Certified Organic produce in order to provide the best nutrition available and none of the “add on” residue from commercial agriculture we don’t need or want. Organic certification is overseen by the USDA, but carried out by various independent organizations throughout the country and the world. Foreign produce is required to meet the same stringent processes and inspections as domestic, so even if a product is grown in Chile, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Mexico or elsewhere it will still meet the standards set forth for organic food in this country, and in some cases exceed them.

Organic Products

We have a wide variety of Fresh Vegetables and Fruits available. We are able, through our distributor, to select where the produce we carry is farmed. Consequently, if Collards are available from growers in Florida, North Carolina, and California we will choose the grower closest to home. This will keep our local and regional growers busy, yet still allow us to get the out of season and specialty items you want.

Staple produce like potatoes, sweet potatoes, onions, tomatoes and greens are always in stock, Bananas, Mangoes and other fruits from the tropics are also generally available with some short season varietals from time to time.

Raw and Living Foods

Fresh produce is complemented by a selection of certified organic and/or wild crafted Raw and Living foods including nuts and seeds, nut butters, coconut butter and oils, unfiltered extra virgin olive oils, vinegars, including raw apple cider vinegar.

Organic Spices and Herbs

Organic bottled spices and Herbs by Simply Organics and Frontier Natural products will round out any recipe, whether calling for Organic extracts or exotic peppers and salts for finishing.
